Charita Carter is the Imagineer leading the transformation of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. She began her career at Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) as an accountant and then to financial analyst. Ms. Carter was given more creative responsibilities with attractions. She was given the task to lead a team in creating Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Walt Disney World.
Ms. Carter’s next task is reimagining Splash Mountain with a Princess and the Frog theme. I am very excited to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This attraction will center around an adventure through the bayou as Tiana, Naveen, and Louis prepare to host a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome.
I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Carter at the D23 Expo 2022 where she was discussing the model of the ride. She was so nice and welcoming. I hope to meet her again soon.
