Carmen Smith is the Senior Vice President, Creative Development – Product/Content & Inclusive Strategies for Walt Disney Imagineering. One of her previous roles was serving as Vice President of Talent Development at Disney ABC Television Group. Her current role includes, but is not limited to, developing a diverse pipeline of themed experiences at Disney’s parks and resorts worldwide. One of her latest projects is reimagining Splash Mountain with a great team that also consists of Charita Carter. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Smith at the D23 Expo 2022 where she was answering questions about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and explaining the model. She was so welcoming and assisted with growing my excitement about the attraction.
