A Touch of Disney in Black History – PJ Morton

Welcome to my series, A Touch of Disney in Black History. This year I am starting the series with highlighting, PJ Morton who is a New Orleans native, songwriter, and musician.  Executive Imagineers developing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for Disneyland and Walt Disney World asked Grammy-winning R&B singer and Maroon 5 keyboardist to create original music for the attraction. Special Spice, performed by Anika Noni Rose, can be heard in the final scene of the attraction.

PC: Disney

Here is a previous A Touch of Disney in Black History post. I hope you enjoy this post and previous ones. Thank you for following this series.

Looking for more information on the music from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, here is a post from Disney Parks Blog.
