A Touch of Disney in Black History – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana's Bayou Adventure

If you do not know by now, I am very excited about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.  An attraction inspired by the animated film, The Princess and the Frog, opening at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort this year.  I had the pleasure of talking to Carmen Smith, Senior Vice President, Creative Development – Product/Content & Inclusive Strategies and Charita Carter, Executive Producer of Walt Disney Imagineering about the attraction during the D23 Expo 2022.

Per Disney Parks Blog post, New Storyline Details Revealed for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, “Walt Disney Imagineering is creating an original, next chapter story for Tiana. Within the attraction queue, guests will discover that she continues to grow her business with Tiana’s Foods – an employee-owned cooperative. Combining her talents with those of the local community, Tiana has transformed an aging salt mine and built a beloved brand.” I get excited each time more information is released about this attacked.  Make sure to stay tuned to Diz Thru Brown Eyes and Disney Parks Blog for updates.

Here is a previous A Touch of Disney in Black History post. Thank you for following along on my A Touch of Disney in Black History series.
