A Home for My MagicBands

With the greatness of MagicBands came the issue of what was I going to do with them after every trip. At the time of this post, I have 5. Next month, the total will rise to 6.  Oh and lets not forget the MagicBandits, MagicSliders, and CoverBands.  Yes, I do personalize mine.  Next month I will probably get MagicCovers (sigh).

I got the idea of making a storage box from Shelley of On the Go in MCO.  Her blog’s video of creating an accessory box for her MagicBands inspired me to be creative.  I love The Container Store and will use any excuse to go in there.  At first I purchased a 6-Compartment Two Sided Storage Box for $1.99.  I realized it was too small.  Instead of returning the box, I decided I could use it as a travel box to store my MagicBand for the current trip as well as accessories.

I returned to The Container Store, happily by the way, and purchased a Mini Hobby Box with Pink Tray for $5.99.

I used stickers that I had on hand to Disney-zazzle my box.  I am limited in the creatively department, but I think it turned out well.

I would love to hear how you store your Magic Bands after trips.  Please share your tips in the comment section.

  1. Cute! I was under the impression that you were supposed to keep your magic band and use it on every trip, but I booked my 2nd trip and got a new set! I’m sure I’ll get set #3 for Princess, too! Maybe they’ll come out with MagicBand racks like they do for race medals!
