When planning my cruise itinerary onboard the Disney Magic, zip lining caught my eye. I have never done it, but always wanted to. Scared? Yes a little. However, the feeling of accomplishing something on my bucket list was overriding the fear.
On October 3rd, the Disney Magic pulled into the port of St. Kitts. This was the last stop of our Southern Caribbean cruise before sailing back to Puerto Rico. The excursion was to take place in the afternoon. Sara ( @DisneySara ) and I had a chance to eat and relax before leaving the ship. Once we checked in, we were lead off the ship where we turned in a wavier and had to be weighed. Yes…weighed!! I did not want to see what the scale said after eating cookies and ice cream every day since getting on the ship.
We were loaded onto a bus and made our way through the streets of St. Kitts. Our driver gave us some history of St. Kitts. I was paying attention, but then again I was not. I was thinking about flying across the top of trees.
The company used for our adventure was Sky Safari.
We were fitted for our equipment and given a tutorial on how to sit in the harness as well as how to position ourselves when we stopped. The group was divided in half. We were lucky enough to be paired with Sugar Lips and OMG. They were funny and professional.
There is not much I can say about the view while zip lining. The pictures and video speak for themselves.
Would I do it again? Yes I would. This experience was a memorable one just like sailing the Southern Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line.
