A Disney Girls’ Night In

What’s better than a girls’ trip to Disney World– how about a Disney World themed girls’ night in?! Where you and your best gal pals get together and share stories and laugh about each of your most recent trips to the Happiest Place on Earth! Here’s how we did it-

It all started with the invitation.

I purchased these cute little planners on my family’s last trip to Disney World. I thought they’d be the perfect vessel for housing the invitations.

I typed up and printed out– all the specifics for our Disney themed, Girl’s Night In. I found some cute Disney stickers at my local Michael’s and secured them to the pages of the planner. Each planner was placed inside an unassuming box and, mailed via UPS.

Once the invitations were mailed and everyone had accepted- I got to work on the entertainment for the night.

I wanted to have as much time as possible to spend with the girls. You know- those vacation stories can be really funny and, I didn’t want to miss a minute of the hysterics! So, I hired a personal chef to prepare and serve us a three course dinner!

Let me just say, after hearing a few of those recounts of previous trips- the cost of the chef was money well spent! Don’t worry ladies– your secrets are safe with me *wink*

In true Disney fashion- I love springing little surprises on my guests. So, unbeknownst to the ladies I had also booked a representative from Mary Kay to come out and give us tips on skin care and make-up.

I’m sure the Mary Kay rep is still recovery from all of our antics!

To keep the night moving along, the ladies and I participated in a round of Pictionary, using Disney theme park rides.

The winning team had their choice of the Disney gag gifts, that each lady had been asked to bring.

While the attire for the night was all things Disney- right down to the socks, much of the other Disney decor was very subtle.

The ladies and I had such a nice time and I look forward to our next Girls’ Night In!
