But what makes Disney even more special is that we all experience it differently.
And this is my story — seeing Disney through my brown eyes.

For me, Disney isn’t simply about visiting a theme park or purchasing the latest merchandise. It’s about the stories behind the experiences, the creativity that brings those stories to life, and the memories that make them meaningful.
It’s the anticipation of a new adventure, the excitement surrounding a special Disney event, and the happiness that comes from discovering something that speaks to your inner child.

One of the things I appreciate most about Disney storytelling is the opportunity to see different cultures, traditions, dreams, and experiences reflected in its stories.
Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog is especially meaningful to the conversations I enjoy sharing.
Her story celebrates determination, ambition, family, love, and the importance of believing in yourself while working toward your dreams.
And beyond the characters, I believe there’s value in recognizing the artists, performers, storytellers, and Cast Members whose contributions help create Disney magic.
That’s why cultural appreciation and representation are important parts of Diz Thru Brown Eyes.
Through my series A Touch of Disney in Black History, I want to explore the creativity, heritage, and contributions that deserve to be recognized and celebrated.
Because representation matters, and every story deserves an opportunity to shine.

What makes a Disney experience unforgettable?
Sometimes it’s a big moment. Other times, it’s something wonderfully simple.
It could be the excitement of discovering a new attraction, admiring the details of a themed environment, exploring Disney merchandise, or enjoying a moment that makes you smile.
I love that Disney offers so many ways to experience its storytelling.
From theme parks and special events to shopping, entertainment, and unique experiences, there’s always another story waiting to be discovered.
As a D23 Gold Charter Member, being part of The Official Disney Fan Club is another meaningful piece of my journey.
It represents an ongoing appreciation for Disney’s history, creativity, and the stories that continue bringing fans together.
